First Carolina Financial Services, the parent company of First Carolina Bank, has announced the pricing of its initial public offering (IPO). The company plans to offer 5.5 million shares at a price range of $14 to $16 per share, with midpoint price set at $15. At this price, the offering is expected to generate net proceeds of approximately $73.6 million after underwriting costs. The shares will trade on the New York Stock Exchange under ticker symbol “FCBM”.

The IPO is intended to support the company’s general corporate needs, including capital enhancement, debt refinancing, and funding for potential acquisitions or organic growth. Following the offering, First Carolina will have 30.2 million shares outstanding, reflecting a 2-for-1 forward stock split. At $15 per share, the company’s market capitalization would be approximately $450 million.

As of March 31, 2026, First Carolina reported total assets of $3.4 billion, deposits of $3.0 billion, and shareholders’ equity of $353.4 million. The company has experienced significant growth since its founding in 2012, with assets increasing from $658 million in 2019 to $3.3 billion by the end of 2025. The acquisition of BM Technologies in 2025 further diversified its revenue streams by adding a digital banking platform that serves over 750 campuses.

The IPO marks a significant milestone for the Raleigh-based bank, following 11 private placements that raised nearly $314 million since its inception. The offering is subject to final regulatory approvals and market conditions.
