Cardano Surges 7.92% Amid Blockchain Developments, Ford Collaboration

Cardano's latest price was $0.5828, up 7.92% in the last 24 hours. The network activity of Cardano continues to show signs of development despite market volatility. Ford Motor Company recently collaborated with Iagon and legal tech firm Cloud Court to explore a blockchain-based data storage system. The project aims to test Cardano’s ability to secure and manage legal data through decentralized cloud technology.

Input Output, the research arm behind Cardano, announced that total transactions on the network surpassed 110.63 million. The growth signals persistent engagement within the ecosystem, regardless of current market headwinds. Additionally, the Cardano Blueprint was launched to support a better understanding and navigation of the blockchain for developers and institutions.

Cardano secured the leading position in core developer activity over the past week, demonstrating a significant margin. A total of 53 developers contributed to Cardano’s 550 core repositories, making 355 core commits. These figures solidly placed Cardano at the forefront of weekly core development. While monthly core commits saw a slight increase of 0.3%, the number of core developers decreased by 9.8% over the same period.

Despite its strong core performance, Cardano’s broader ecosystem-wide activity showed a downward trend. Commits across its ecosystem decreased by 25.26% to 1,173, and the number of developers contributing to the ecosystem fell by 19.92% to 176 compared to previous months.
