Capgemini Acquires Ctrl4C Cloud Services to Enhance Cloud Managed Services and SAP Leadership

With a workforce of 1,600 operating in 29 countries, Cloud4C has a strong reputation for large-scale cloud transformations, attributed to its advanced, highly automated AI platform and processes [2].

Capgemini, the French IT services major, is Europe's second-biggest IT services company by market capitalization, after Accenture. The acquisition of Cloud4C follows Capgemini's $3.3 billion acquisition of WNS in July and its April acquisition of Delta Capita, specializing in financial crime compliance services. These acquisitions reflect Capgemini's strategy to strengthen its capabilities in key areas such as cloud management, data solutions, and cybersecurity [1].

The acquisition is expected to create immediate cross-selling opportunities across Capgemini clients and enable the development of industry-specific packaged frameworks, intellectual property (IP), and GenAI solutions for cloud management and seamless migrations. Aiman Ezzat, CEO of Capgemini, noted that Cloud4C's status as a global premium partner of SAP makes it a natural fit for Capgemini, which has been a strategic partner with SAP for decades [2].

Pinnapureddy expressed pride in Cloud4C's achievements and looks forward to combining its strengths with Capgemini's to meet the needs of its international client base. The acquisition is expected to close by the end of 2025, pending regulatory approvals [2].
