Canola futures on the Intercontinental Exchange declined after Statistics Canada reported a record 21.80 million tonnes of production for 2025-26, exceeding the September estimate and last year's crop. An analyst attributed the production estimate to China's absence from the Canadian export program, predicting canola prices will struggle. Other oilseed futures also fell, while crude oil prices rose following Ukrainian attacks on Russian infrastructure.
