Caesars Entertainment and Dry Creek Rancheria Launch Caesars Republic Sonoma County Project

Dry Creek Rancheria and Caesars Entertainment have broken ground on Caesars Republic Sonoma County, transforming River Rock Casino into a world-class integrated resort by summer 2027. Financing is led by Citizens, with Gaming and Leisure Properties as the real estate partner. The resort will feature a casino floor, hotel, luxury spa, pool, fitness center, diverse dining options, and a wine bar with outdoor deck. It will integrate into Caesars Rewards, with an expected opening in 2027.

Dry Creek Rancheria and Caesars Entertainment have taken a significant step forward in transforming River Rock Casino into a world-class integrated resort. On August 2, 2025, the two entities broke ground on the project, which aims to complete the transformation by summer 2027. The partnership was initiated when Dry Creek Rancheria selected Caesars Entertainment as its development and management partner for the new integrated resort.

The project's financing is led by Citizens, with Gaming and Leisure Properties, Inc. (GLPI) serving as the lead real estate financing partner. Caesars Republic Sonoma County will be located off Highway 101, offering breathtaking views of the Alexander Valley Vineyards and the Russian River. The resort will feature a new casino floor with over 1,000 slot machines and 28 table games, a 100-room hotel with a luxury spa, pool, and fitness center, and a diverse food and beverage lineup. Additionally, the resort will include a steakhouse, an upscale café, an Asian concept, an elevated quick-service option, a fireside bar, a sports bar, and a wine bar with an outdoor deck.

Caesars Republic Sonoma County will be part of Caesars Entertainment's expansive Caesars Rewards® network, allowing guests to earn and redeem Reward Credits at any of the company's 50+ destinations across the country. The project is expected to bring a significant economic and cultural boost to the region.
