BWX Technologies to Provide Owner's Engineer Services for Bulgaria's New Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant Units 7 & 8

BWX Technologies has been awarded a 10-year, hundreds of millions of euros contract to provide Owner's Engineer services at Bulgaria's New Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant, Units 7 & 8. The consortium, including Laurentis Energy Partners and Canadian Nuclear Partners S.A., will oversee the Westinghouse AP1000 nuclear power units' design, construction, operation, and decommissioning. The contract spans 12 months for front-end services and potentially 10 years for engineering services.
