Bulgaria Introduces Digital Nomad Visa, Offers Flexible Work Options for Foreign Nationals

Bulgaria has introduced a digital nomad residence permit for remote workers. The permit is for foreign nationals who work for employers or businesses outside the EU, EEA, and Switzerland. The permit is valid for one year and can be extended. Applicants must apply for a long-stay Visa D, submit documents locally, and apply for an identification card. The permit also allows holders to sponsor dependents through family reunification.
