Building a Dynamic Workflow Orchestration Engine with Amazon DynamoDB and AWS Lambda

A serverless workflow orchestration engine using Amazon DynamoDB and AWS Lambda is demonstrated in this post. The solution allows for dynamic workflows defined at runtime, flexible task dependencies, parallel execution, and error handling and retry mechanisms. Two examples, a mathematical workflow and a financial analysis workflow, are provided to illustrate the solution's capabilities. The orchestration engine can be adapted for use cases involving data processing, AI agent orchestration, and other complex task coordination needs.
