Bright Scholar Education to go private through merger deal

Bright Scholar Education Holdings Limited has agreed to a private takeover through a merger with Excellence Education Investment Limited and its subsidiary. The deal will see Bright Scholar Education become a privately-held company, with the merger expected to be completed in the first half of 2023. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
