Boeing (BA.US) and its union will resume contract negotiations on Wednesday after a strike that was marked by intense labor action.

Boeing (BA.US) employees will make new progress in their strike for the first time in 16 years. The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers said Boeing and the union will resume contract negotiations Wednesday with a federal mediator present, after failing to reach agreement on key issues including wages and pensions on Tuesday.
