Blaize Secures $120M Contract to Scale Edge AI Across APAC

Blaize has secured a $120M contract with Starshine Computing Power Technology to deploy its hybrid AI platform across Asia. The agreement aims to scale energy-efficient edge AI in APAC's fastest-growing economies, with the initial phase beginning in Q3 2025 and continuing through 2026. The partnership will help countries strengthen their economies, manage urban growth, and address climate resilience through real-time, localized AI.

Blaize Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: BZAI, NASDAQ: BZAIW), a leader in programmable, energy-efficient edge AI computing, has secured a $120 million contract with Starshine Computing Power Technology Limited to deploy its hybrid AI platform across Asia. The agreement, announced on July 2, 2025, aims to scale energy-efficient edge AI in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, targeting the fastest-growing economies. The initial phase will commence in Q3 2025 and continue through 2026 [1].

The collaboration between Blaize and Starshine is set to drive real-world hybrid AI deployment across Asia through scalable infrastructure. The agreement will focus on deploying Blaize's hybrid AI solutions for smart city applications, with plans to expand into additional industries. The rollout will target key countries, including India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, and China, aligning with their AI infrastructure priorities [2].

Blaize's Graph Streaming Processor (GSP)®-based AI platform is designed to anchor next-generation computing clusters for smart cities, industry, and agriculture. The partnership will deliver a new class of hybrid AI computing clusters, integrating Blaize's GSP-based inference accelerators with GPU-based infrastructure. This rollout aims to cut energy use, lower total cost of ownership, process multimodal data streams, and enable real-time, localized decision-making at the edge [1].

The hybrid AI platform rollout will target high-growth sectors, including smart city surveillance, retail and security, smart industry, and AgTech & smart irrigation. The agreement carries a minimum value of $120 million in revenue over the initial 18-month term.
