Bitcoin Price Forecast: Analyst Predicts $250K by 2027 Amid Uncertainty

Galaxy Digital's head of firmwide research, Alex Thorn, predicts Bitcoin will reach $250,000 by the end of 2027. However, he notes that it's challenging to forecast the cryptocurrency's price action in 2026, with equal odds of it hitting $50,000 or $250,000. Thorn believes Bitcoin is transitioning from a speculative to a mature financial asset, with a decrease in longer-term volatility. He also thinks it's possible that Bitcoin will become widely adopted as a monetary debasement hedge within the next two years.
