Trump Media and Crypto.com have launched a $6.4 billion digital asset treasury dedicated to the Cronos (CRO) token, forming a new publicly traded entity through a partnership with Yorkville Acquisition Corp. The new company, Trump Media Group CRO Strategy, will be listed on Nasdaq under the ticker symbol MCGA [1]. The treasury will initially include $1 billion in CRO, $200 million in cash, $220 million in warrants, and a $5 billion equity line of credit from a Yorkville affiliate, making it one of the largest CRO treasury vehicles to date [3].

Trump Media has also separately committed $105 million in CRO to integrate into its Truth Social platform, where the token will serve as a rewards and utility mechanism. Similarly, Crypto.com has invested $50 million in Trump Media’s common stock, further aligning the strategic interests of the three entities [4]. The CRO tokens will also be staked on Crypto.com’s custody platform to generate additional revenue, with proceeds expected to be reinvested to sustain the treasury’s growth [5].

A key element of the strategy is the establishment of a validator node by the new entity, which will directly support the security and governance of the Cronos network while earning staking rewards. The treasury will also allow Truth Social users to earn "gems" that can be converted into CRO, with future plans to let them pay for subscriptions using the token [2].
