Binance founder CZ has expressed his interest in supporting early-stage innovative projects through angel investments. In a recent interview, CZ stated, "I am trying. I generally have a good read on people, but it takes time." Understanding an entrepreneur requires observing their decision-making process and execution under various pressures, including money temptations and user interests. It's also about their dedication, adaptability, market understanding, worldview, and leadership qualities. CZ believes that one cannot fully understand someone just by chatting for a while.

CZ's investment in Trust Wallet is a testament to his approach. He invested after just one meeting, but he had been observing the team for some time before that. Similarly, YZi Labs is also following a similar approach. However, CZ acknowledges that investing requires a significant amount of time commitment, and there's no such thing as a magical "keen eye."
