Bharti Airtel, Carlyle, Alpha Wave Global to Invest $1 bn in Nxtra Data, Valuing Nxtra at $3.1 Billion

Bharti Airtel, Carlyle, Alpha Wave Global, and Anchorage Capital will invest $1 billion in Nxtra Data, Airtel's data centre arm, valuing Nxtra at $3.1 billion. Airtel will retain a controlling stake and plans to scale to 1 GW capacity in the next few years, targeting 25% market share.
