Benihana Express Expands in Miami with Second Location

The ONE Group Hospitality has opened its second Benihana Express location in Miami's Bayside Marketplace. The fast-casual concept features a modern aesthetic and a menu with popular Benihana items, such as hibachi burritos, entrees, and bowls. The company anticipates opening additional locations under a multi-unit development deal with franchisee Erick Passo.

The ONE Group Hospitality, Inc. (Nasdaq: STKS) has announced the opening of its second Benihana Express location in Miami's Bayside Marketplace. The fast-casual concept, owned and operated by franchisee Erick Passo, promises guests and visitors a taste of Benihana's famous hibachi menu offerings in a made-to-order, fast casual setting. The new location is situated at 401 Biscayne Blvd S119 and is the second Benihana Express in the Miami area, following the first opening earlier this year in the Brickell neighborhood.

The 770-square-foot Benihana Express reflects a modern, minimalist aesthetic with Japanese-inspired touches, including sleek wood finishes and bold red accents. The open kitchen concept, while in a smaller footprint, mirrors the energy and excitement of the renowned teppanyaki experience that guests have come to love from Benihana. The menu features a variety of popular Benihana items, such as hibachi burritos, entrees, and bowls, along with appetizers and add-ons.

The new Benihana Express will be open daily from 11 a.m. until midnight. Following the openings in Miami, Benihana Express is slated to open its first West Coast operation in San Francisco later this year. The ONE Group anticipates opening additional Benihana Express locations under a multi-unit development deal with Passo in the coming months.
