Bar Association Seeks Inquiry into Judiciary Corruption Chapter in NCERT Syllabus

The All India Bar Association has written to PM Modi seeking a thorough inquiry into a chapter on alleged "corruption in the judiciary" in the Class VIII syllabus, terming the content objectionable and potentially damaging to the credibility of the justice system. The Bar expresses concern that the chapter could influence young students and erode public confidence in the judiciary. The Association urges the government to conduct a comprehensive inquiry into the chapter's conception, drafting, and approval, and identify those responsible.
