Banco Bradesco Takes Aim at Ambipar Executives in $72.4mln Debt Dispute

Banco Bradesco, one of Ambipar's top creditors, is using a similar legal tactic as in the Americanas SA case by trying to hold the company's management personally liable for potential fraud and accounting maneuvers. Bradesco alleges that Ambipar's executives squandered the company's cash and artificially inflated its finances. The bank has filed a lawsuit against Ambipar's integration and finance director, Thiago da Costa Silva, and plans to do the same against other officers.
