A Baltimore jury has awarded Cherie Craft over $1.5 billion in damages after finding Johnson & Johnson liable for exposing her to asbestos through talc-based products, causing her to develop incurable cancer. The verdict is believed to be the largest ever against Johnson & Johnson for a single plaintiff. Craft was diagnosed with mesothelioma in January 2024.
