BAE Systems Wins $184M Deal for Amphibious Combat Vehicles, Expands ACV-30 Orders to Over 100

BAE Systems has won a $184 million contract from the US Marine Corps for the production of 30 Amphibious Combat Vehicles (ACVs). This increases the total ACV-30 orders to over 100. The production will take place in Johnstown, PA, York, PA, and Charleston, SC. The ACV-30 is engineered to meet the demanding mission of deploying marines from ship to shore. The global armored vehicle market is expected to register a CAGR of 5.66% during 2025-2030, indicating substantial growth opportunities for BAE Systems and other defense majors such as RTX Corporation, General Dynamics Corp., and Textron Inc.
