Amazon Bedrock, an AI service that supports generative models, has introduced a new feature that allows for global cross-region inference for Anthropic Claude Sonnet 4. This enhancement enables inference requests to route to any supported commercial AWS Region for processing, optimizing available resources and increasing model throughput. The new feature provides flexibility for generative AI use cases that don't require geography-specific processing [1].

Amazon Neptune Database, a managed graph database service, now supports public endpoints. This feature allows for direct connections to Neptune databases from outside the VPC without complex networking configurations. Public Endpoints enable secure access to graph databases from development desktops while maintaining security through IAM authentication, VPC security groups, and encryption in transit [1].
