Avista Corp. Q2 2025 Results: Utility Earnings Offset Investment Losses

Avista Corp reported Q2 2025 net income of $14m, down from $23m in Q2 2024, and earnings per diluted share of $0.17, down from $0.29. The decrease was mainly due to lower valuations in the company's investment portfolio, primarily related to clean technology investments.
