Ligner has a proven track record of value creation in the life sciences industry, with over 30 years of experience. He will succeed Michael Stubblefield, who will step down from his role as CEO. Ligner has held various positions at GE Life Sciences, including several global leadership roles.

(NYSE: AVTR), a leading global provider of mission-critical products and services to customers in the life sciences and advanced technology industries, has announced the appointment of Emmanuel Ligner as its next President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective August 18, 2025. Ligner will succeed Michael Stubblefield, who will step down from his role as CEO.

Ligner brings over 30 years of experience and an outstanding track record of driving growth and value creation in the life sciences industry. During his tenure at GE Life Sciences, Ligner held several global leadership positions, focusing on commercial growth. He was appointed President and CEO of GE Life Sciences and later led the launch of Cytiva, a standalone life sciences brand, integrating Pall Life Sciences. Most recently, he served as CEO of Cerba HealthCare.
