Auto insurance shopping peaked in March and remained elevated throughout Q2. 42% of auto insurance shoppers switched insurers in the past year and a half, with Gen Xers and Baby Boomers representing the largest share of this segment. Carriers are urged to rethink retention strategies and employ data-driven approaches to engage with customers.
