Ashford Hospitality Trust extended its Highland mortgage loan secured by 18 hotels, paying down $10 million to $723.6 million and setting a final maturity date of July 9, 2026. Preferred dividends have been suspended to preserve liquidity as the company evaluates strategic alternatives, with previously declared dividends to be paid as soon as possible.
