Arqit Selected for National Cyber Security Centre's Post-Quantum Cryptography Pilot

Arqit Quantum Inc. has been selected to participate in the National Cyber Security Centre's Post-Quantum Cryptography Pilot, providing discovery and migration planning services to organisations preparing for quantum-safe technologies. Arqit's Encryption Intelligence product will help organisations assess and manage cryptographic risk during the transition to quantum-resistant security. The pilot is part of the Assured Cyber Security Consultancy Scheme to build national expertise in preparing organisations for PQC migration.

London, September 12, 2025 — Arqit Quantum Inc. (Nasdaq: ARQQ, ARQQW) has been selected to participate in the National Cyber Security Centre’s (NCSC) Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) Pilot. The pilot, part of the Assured Cyber Security Consultancy (ACSC) Scheme, aims to build national expertise in preparing organisations for PQC migration.

As a participant, Arqit will provide Discovery and Migration Planning services to organisations transitioning to quantum-safe technologies. These services will centre on Arqit’s Encryption Intelligence product, designed to help organisations identify, assess, and manage cryptographic risks during the transition to quantum-resistant security.

The selection underscores the urgency of the PQC migration challenge. Classical cryptographic algorithms, currently underpinning digital infrastructure, are expected to become vulnerable to quantum computers by 2030. The NCSC advises organisations to begin migration planning immediately, with priority systems to be migrated by 2030 and full migration completed by 2035.
