Ares Capital Q1 Profit Drops to $293mln, Down 18% YoY

Ares Capital Corp. reported Q1 earnings of $293 million, or $0.41 per share, down from $357 million, or $0.55 per share, in the same period last year. Adjusted earnings were $0.50 per share, and revenue rose 4.5% to $793 million from $759 million last year.
