Apple's Latest iOS Update Brings AI Playlists, Purchase Sharing, and More

Apple has released iOS 26.4 with several updates, including a new Playlist Playground feature in Apple Music that uses AI to generate playlists based on text prompts. Other updates include a concert discovery feature, full-screen backgrounds for album and playlist pages, and a new Offline Music Recognition tool. Family Sharing now allows each adult member to add their own payment methods for purchases, and there are eight new emoji added. Accessibility features include an updated "reduce bright effects" setting and easier subtitle and caption settings.
