The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) has issued an advisory to Indian labs testing food products for export to Indonesia. The labs are required to follow Indonesian Quarantine Authority (IQA) guidelines to avoid non-compliance, which may result in temporary suspension of affected products. The IQA has registered 17 Indian labs to test agri products for export to Indonesia. The advisory also emphasizes the importance of adhering to maximum aflatoxin limits, pesticide residue, heavy metal, and microbiological parameters for agricultural products.
