The new feature introduces an "Access PC’s clipboard" toggle within the Phone Link app. Once activated, any text copied on a Windows PC appears in the Android clipboard. This functionality works with popular keyboards, including Gboard and Samsung Keyboard. Unlike earlier integrations that relied on Microsoft’s SwiftKey, this approach syncs directly with the system clipboard, offering a more stable and native option .
Clipboard syncing between Windows and Android is not new, but third-party tools offering similar functionality have largely broken down due to Android system-level changes. Microsoft’s update could provide a more stable, native option. Phone Link already supports notifications, calls, and app mirroring, and clipboard sync could further strengthen its role as a productivity bridge across ecosystems .
Currently, the feature only works one way: text copied on Windows can be pasted on Android, but clipboard data from Android does not transfer back to Windows. However, for tasks such as sharing links, login credentials, or snippets of text, the feature could prove highly useful. Microsoft has not announced a rollout timeline for this feature.
Separately, Google has been rolling out its Material 3 Expressive design language to Pixel 6 devices and newer, along with Pixel Tablet. This update includes more personalization options, like iPhone-like calling cards, and extends to tablets as well . Additionally, Google is bringing several new features to the Pixel Buds Pro 2, including Adaptive Audio, which automatically adjusts volume based on the sounds in your environment, and automatic background noise reduction when interacting with Gemini. Google will also start displaying Maps on Pixel Watch or WearOS devices when you start walking or biking navigation on your phone .

Android Auto 15.0 has been released widely, but it doesn't bring major changes. The update addresses device and vehicle-specific issues and doesn't have a detailed changelog. It's worth updating to fix niche bugs, but users shouldn't expect major new features. A light theme and Gemini support are still upcoming, with Gemini support expected soon.
Microsoft is reportedly working on a new clipboard sync feature that bridges Windows 11 and Android devices through its Phone Link app. The feature, which is currently available in early Dev builds of Windows 11, allows users to copy content on their Windows PC and instantly paste it on their linked Android phone .The new feature introduces an "Access PC’s clipboard" toggle within the Phone Link app. Once activated, any text copied on a Windows PC appears in the Android clipboard.
