Three years after leaving the decentralized finance (DeFi) sector, Andre Cronje, a prominent figure in the space, has shared his reasons for quitting. Cronje, who was once a key player in the DeFi ecosystem, co-founded Yearn.finance, a popular DeFi platform that offers automated yield farming strategies. However, in 2022, he announced his departure from the DeFi space, citing burnout and a desire to focus on other projects. He has been involved in a number of projects outside of DeFi, including the development of a new blockchain platform called Sifchain.
