Amarc Resources Ltd. ("Amarc" or the "Company") (TSXV: AHR; OTCQB: AXREF) has recently announced additional drill results from the AuRORA copper-gold-silver deposit discovery, located within the expansive Northwest Gossan ("NWG") Target area at its 100% owned JOY Copper-Gold District (or "JOY") in north-central British Columbia ("BC"). The AuRORA deposit discovery is a significant milestone for Amarc and its shareholders, as it represents a pivotal moment in the exploration of the JOY District in collaboration with Freeport-McMoRan Mineral Properties Canada Inc. ("Freeport"), which is fully funding work programs at JOY to earn an interest in the project.
The latest drill results from the AuRORA deposit, announced on January 17, 2025, have shown encouraging grades and characteristics similar to those reported in the previous release on January 20, 2025. The new results include:
* Drill Hole JP24060 intersected 28 m of 2.40 g/t Au, 0.61% Cu, and 1.98 g/t Ag, including a higher-grade interval of 81 m of 3.58 g/t Au, 0.85% Cu, and 2.89 g/t Ag.
* Drill Hole JP24063 intersected 131.65 m of 1.01 g/t Au, 0.30% Cu, and 0.88 g/t Ag, including a higher-grade interval of 99.10 m of 1.17 g/t Au, 0.33% Cu, and 1.00 g/t Ag.
* Drill Hole JP24068 intersected 192.00 m of 0.52 g/t Au, 0.25% Cu, and 0.56 g/t Ag, including a higher-grade interval of 83 m of 0.75 g/t Au, 0.34% Cu, and 0.78 g/t Ag.
* Drill Hole JP24073 intersected 219.00 m of 0.98 g/t Au, 0.24% Cu, and 0.80 g/t Ag, including a higher-grade interval of 131 m of 1.40 g/t Au, 0.34% Cu, and 1.13 g/t Ag.
* Drill Hole JP24075 intersected 266.00 m of 1.24 g/t Au, 0.31% Cu, and 1.02 g/t Ag, including a higher-grade interval of 109 m of 2.41 g/t Au, 0.51% Cu, and 1.89 g/t Ag.
These results are consistent with the previous findings, demonstrating the lateral and vertical continuity of the high-grade Au grades, as well as the presence of strong Cu and Ag values. The AuRORA deposit remains open to lateral expansion and further drilling is planned to confirm its high-grade potential.
The AuRORA deposit discovery is located within the expansive Northwest Gossan ("NWG") Target area, which is outlined by a 3.7 km2 Induced Polarization ("IP") anomaly (>14mV/V) with coincident Cu, Au, Mo, and Ag anomalies outlined in soils and rocks. The 2024 initial drill testing of the NWG Target area focused primarily on an internal zone of higher (>20 mV/V) IP chargeability some 1,500 m long and 500 m wide. Much of the NWG Target area remains unexplored, and the AuRORA deposit discovery is only one of eight large-scale sulphide mineralized systems clustered along several mineralized trends drilled in 2024 at JOY.

The strong results delivered by Amarc's 2022 drilling continue to reveal the exceptional potential of the JOY District. Delineation drilling at the PINE Deposit substantially expanded mineralization and it is still wide open. In addition, scout drilling of expansive deposit-scale targets is confirming the potential for clustered porphyry mineralized deposits around the PINE: the discovery of new copper-gold mineralization at the largely covered Canyon target is especially exciting. Also, as previously reported surface surveys are preparing new and compelling porphyry copper-gold deposit targets across JOY for drilling.
