This customizable approach allows travelers to select the earning method that best suits their travel style. For instance, those who frequently fly long distances may prefer earning points based on miles traveled, while travelers who often fly in premium cabins might opt for the price-based option. The flexibility to switch earning methods once per year ensures that members can adapt their strategy as their travel habits change.

The introduction of Atmos Rewards also includes the unveiling of a new premium Visa credit card, the Atmos Rewards Summit Visa Infinite® card. This card offers exclusive travel perks, including a unique Global Companion Award, accelerated points and status earning potential, and Alaska Lounge passes. The annual fee for this card is $395. Additionally, the Alaska Airlines Visa Signature® card and Alaska Airlines Visa® Business card are being rebranded to Atmos Rewards Ascent Visa Signature® card and Atmos Rewards Visa® Business card, respectively.
