Airbus has instructed airlines to update software on nearly 6,000 A320 aircraft after a JetBlue incident linked to data errors caused by solar radiation. The issue affects flight controls, potentially causing uncommanded pitch changes. Around 200-250 A320 family planes operated by Indian airlines will need software changes. The update introduced a weakness during high solar activity, corrupting ELAC data and causing short, uncommanded pitch changes.
