Air New Zealand's two new Boeing 787-9 aircraft have completed final assembly and received clearance to operate with increased payload and longer routes. The upgraded planes can carry an additional 10,000lbs of payload and fly 300 nautical miles further, enhancing the airline's ability to transport more customers and cargo on ultra-long-haul routes like Auckland to New York.
