Adobe SDC Employs AWS Batch and EC2 Instances for Large-Scale Image Inference

Adobe Search, Discovery, and Content (SDC) team used AWS Batch and GPU-accelerated EC2 instances to tackle complex technical requirements for large-scale image inference workloads. Challenges included model and data diversity, high operational overhead, failure detection and recovery, and data sharding complexity. The solution minimized operational overhead, achieved high performance, and maximized GPU utilization without breaking cost efficiency.
