Addus HomeCare names Bickham interim COO for one year
Addus HomeCare Corporation (Nasdaq: ADUS) has appointed Brad Bickham as interim Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately, following the departure of Heather Dixon, who had served as president and COO. Bickham’s appointment is expected to last for one year, during which he will oversee the company’s operations amid the leadership transition. The company has not disclosed the nature of Dixon’s departure or announced a permanent successor.
Bickham previously held the roles of president and COO and was instrumental in expanding Addus’ personal care operations and its presence in hospice and home health. His prior experience with the company is expected to provide operational continuity and reduce execution risk during the transition. CEO Dirk Allison praised Dixon for her contributions and emphasized Bickham’s deep knowledge of operations and proven track record of execution.
Bickham’s return allows Addus to maintain stability as it continues to execute its growth strategy and manage its existing home care businesses. The company has not indicated whether it has begun a search for a permanent COO.
