AB Charity Foundation Launches Global Philanthropic Network
The AB Charity Foundation has officially launched, with a mission to build a global philanthropic network grounded in "institutional trust" and driven by technology. The foundation is headquartered in Ireland and is chaired by Bertie Ahern, a former Irish Prime Minister, along with two other former Irish Prime Ministers serving on the board.
The foundation's technical backbone is provided by AB DAO, which offers on-chain infrastructure. The AB public chain will allocate 15% to 30% of each transaction's Gas fee into a charity fund pool. This mechanism ensures transparency, full-chain traceability, automatic distribution, and third-party audits, fostering a trustworthy philanthropic environment.
The AB Charity Foundation will focus its efforts on key areas such as education, healthcare, environmental protection, and humanitarian aid. By promoting global sustainable development and goodwill cooperation, the foundation aims to make a significant impact on these critical sectors.
This initiative marks a new paradigm in philanthropy, leveraging institutional trust and cutting-edge technology to create a more transparent and efficient charitable ecosystem. The foundation's commitment to these principles sets a high standard for future philanthropic endeavors, emphasizing the importance of accountability and innovation in addressing global challenges.
