Madilyn Davis, a 7th grader from Arizona, achieved her goal of becoming a world record holder after catching a giant muskie on a fishing trip with her father in Wisconsin. Months earlier, she had written down her goal as part of a summer goal list, alongside another unusual target of petting a capybara, which she had already accomplished. The muskie catch was confirmed as a world record by the International Game Fish Association, with Madilyn's catch weighing in at 54.17 pounds.
