SR Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: SRBK) has announced a 20% increase in its quarterly cash dividend, raising the payout from $0.05 to $0.06 per share. The dividend will be paid on July 15, 2025, to stockholders of record as of June 30, 2025. This marks the second quarterly dividend since the company’s initial public offering in 2023 and reflects the company’s confidence in its financial stability and growth prospects.

SR Bancorp, the holding company for Somerset Regal Bank, reported $1.07 billion in total assets as of March 31, 2025, with $780.8 million in net loans, $835.6 million in deposits, and $195.1 million in total equity. The bank operates 14 branches across Essex, Hunterdon, Middlesex, Morris, Somerset, and Union Counties in New Jersey. The increase in the dividend follows the company’s successful merger with Regal Bancorp, Inc. in 2023, which expanded its market presence and lending capabilities.

The decision to raise the dividend was made by the Board of Directors, with Executive Chairman David Orbach noting the company’s strong financial position as a key factor in the decision. The move is expected to provide additional returns to shareholders while maintaining a balance with the company’s capital preservation and growth strategies.
