Polar Power announces two new board appointments

Polar Power, Inc. (NASDAQ: POLA) has announced the appointment of Michael Field as an independent director to its Board of Directors. Mr. Field brings over four decades of experience in global manufacturing and equipment, with expertise in engineering, technology development, lean manufacturing, and systems integration. He has held leadership roles at UTC Carrier Corporation, PRI Automation, and Brooks Automation, and currently serves as President and CEO of The Raymond Corporation, a major player in the materials handling market. Mr. Field holds advanced degrees in mechanical and manufacturing engineering, as well as an MBA with a focus on international operations.

In addition to Mr. Field’s appointment, the company has also confirmed that Keith Albrecht will serve as chair of the Audit Committee and as a member of the Compensation and Nominating and Corporate Governance Committees. Mr. Albrecht has extensive experience in commercial real estate appraisal and has previously worked with institutions such as Security Pacific Bank, Bank of America, and the County of Orange, California. He is currently a retired investor focusing on startups and small-cap companies.
