MongoDB, Inc.: UBS raises target price to $460 from $350
UBS has raised its price target for MongoDB, Inc. (NASDAQ:MDB) to $460 from $350, reflecting a more optimistic outlook on the company’s long-term growth prospects. The adjustment follows the firm’s attendance at MongoDB’s annual customer conference, where the company outlined a 3-5 year growth strategy, including high-teens total revenue growth, over 20% growth in its cloud-based Atlas service, and annual operating margin improvements of 100-200 basis points to reach 20%. UBS based its updated target on a 7.5x calendar year 2027 enterprise value-to-sales multiple, up from its previous 7x multiple.
MongoDB’s stock currently trades at $313.78, with a market capitalization of $25.42 billion. While UBS maintains a Neutral rating, it views the valuation as reasonable relative to other companies with similar revenue growth. Other firms have also adjusted their price targets, with Cantor Fitzgerald, Wolfe Research, RBC Capital expressing confidence in MongoDB’s strategic direction and growth potential.
