LOMA--

Loma Negra Compañía Industrial Argentina (NYSE: LOMA) reported adjusted EBITDA of ARS48.18 billion for the second quarter of 2025, according to its earnings release. This represents a decline compared to the same period in the prior year, reflecting ongoing challenges in the cement and construction sectors. The company’s consolidated adjusted EBITDA margin for the quarter was 21.2%, down from stronger performance in earlier periods [8].

Net sales for the quarter totaled ARS209.27 billion (US$154 million), a 12.1% decrease year-over-year. The decline in revenue was attributed to weaker performance in the cement segment, partially offset by growth in concrete and aggregates. Cement volumes fell 5.4% YoY, while concrete and aggregates volumes increased by 37.8% and 26.3%, respectively.

The company also reported a net loss of ARS8.587 billion for the quarter, contrasting with a net profit in the same period of 2024. Loma Negra has continued to manage its debt profile, with net debt reaching ARS281.52 billion as of September 30, 2025, and a net debt-to-adjusted EBITDA ratio of 1.49x.

The company has taken steps to strengthen its financial position, including the issuance of a US$113 million bond in July 2025 to refinance maturing debt. Investors are closely monitoring how macroeconomic conditions and infrastructure developments in Argentina will impact the company’s performance in the coming quarters.
