HSBC Survey: Treasurers Prioritize AI, Digital Currencies in Asia-Pacific

HSBC surveyed 680 treasury and finance practitioners across 11 Asia Pacific markets to understand the benefits, hurdles, and risks of AI and digital currencies. The survey found that 80% of respondents believe AI will be useful for their treasury in the next 3 years, while 60% said they will use digital currencies in the next 2 years. The top barrier to AI adoption is integration with existing systems, while treasury efficiency is the primary reason to adopt digital currencies.
