Emergent BioSolutions to Cut 90 Jobs, Achieve $40M Savings

Emergent BioSolutions is undergoing a restructuring that aims for annualized savings of approximately $40 million, but also includes 90 layoffs. The company will close two Maryland laboratories, sell an unused office building for around $6 million, and exit a warehouse lease. The restructuring is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
