Dye & Durham Limited (TSX: DND) has announced the appointment of Steve Waszak as interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective immediately. This decision follows the departure of Avjit Kamboj, who served as CFO until this transition. Waszak brings extensive executive experience in corporate finance, strategic development, and mergers and acquisitions, having held leadership roles at companies such as BTI Systems, Zetera Corporation, and Ciena Corporation.

Waszak’s career spans over two decades in the technology and finance sectors, with a focus on driving operational efficiency and value creation through strategic financial leadership. Most recently, he served as CFO at Connected-Holdings, an IoT services provider, and previously held executive roles at SMTEK International and SMTC Corporation. His experience includes guiding companies through growth phases, acquisitions, and capital structure optimization.

In a statement, Dye & Durham’s CEO George Tsivin emphasized the importance of having a strong leadership team to support the company’s strategic initiatives and operational improvements. “We are confident that Steve’s expertise will be instrumental in advancing our financial strategy and unlocking the value of our core software assets,” Tsivin said.

Waszak will work alongside the newly appointed Chief Marketing Officer, Chris Louie, and Chief Legal Officer, Corey Banks, to strengthen the company’s leadership structure. His interim role is expected to provide continuity during a period of strategic review and operational transformation.

The company has not disclosed whether Waszak’s appointment is part of a long-term succession plan or if a permanent CFO will be sought in the future. Investors are advised to monitor the company’s upcoming filings and announcements for further details on its financial strategy and leadership structure.
