Next Biometrics Group ASA - Lars Bakklund appointed interim CFO effective immediately

CFO Knut Stålen will step down from his position effective 29 February 2020. The process of appointing a new CFO is underway. NEXT’s Director of Finance, Eirik Underthun, will serve as interim CFO until permanent appointment. Eirik Underthun brings extensive financial management and business controlling experience from the IT/Telecom industry, including international assignments. He has also been involved in turnaround management, financial restructuring, and cost management.

Lars Bakklund has now been appointed as interim CFO effective immediately. Bakklund is an independent consultant and interim manager with a background in financial leadership and strategic advisory. His appointment reflects the company’s ongoing efforts to ensure continuity in financial leadership during the transition period.
