Arden Health appoints Dave Caspers as CEO

Ardent Health (NYSE: ARDT) has announced Dave Caspers as chief operating officer, a strategic leadership role within the organization. Caspers brings extensive experience in retail healthcare and health system operations, having previously served as vice president of omnichannel operations at Walmart Health and held leadership roles at Banner Health and Target Corporation. In his new role, Caspers will oversee operations across Ardent’s 30 hospitals and 280 sites of care in six states, with a focus on executing strategic growth initiatives and driving operational excellence.

Ardent Health President and CEO Marty Bonick highlighted Caspers’ background in creating scale and operational synergies within complex health systems as a key asset for the company’s continued growth. Caspers expressed enthusiasm about joining Ardent during a period of significant expansion, emphasizing the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality care and enhancing the consumer experience.

In addition to Caspers’ appointment, Ardent announced the promotion of three senior leaders, including Anika Gardenhire to chief digital and transformation officer, Rebecca Kirkham to chief communications and corporate affairs officer, and Reed Smith to chief consumer officer. These leadership changes reflect the company’s ongoing focus on digital transformation, communications, and consumer engagement.
