I'm using an android phone and want to transfer BTC and ETH out and put it somewhere else.

Got it — Android, and you want **BTC and ETH out of EasyCrypto/Swyftx and into your own wallet** with the least possible hassle.
Let’s keep it very simple and use **one app: Exodus**. It can hold both BTC and ETH, and *you* control it.
---
## Step 1 – Install your new wallet (Exodus)
On your Android phone:
1. Open **Google Play Store**.
2. Search: **“Exodus: Crypto Bitcoin Wallet”**
3. Tap the one by **“Exodus Movement, Inc.”** and install it.
4. Open the app and choose **Create new wallet** (or similar wording).
That’s it — you now have a wallet app.
---
## Step 2 – Save your recovery phrase (most important part)
At some point Exodus will show you **12 words** (your “recovery phrase” or “secret phrase”).
1. **Write the 12 words on paper** (in order).
2. Put that paper somewhere safe (like you would with cash or jewellery).
3. **Do NOT**:
- screenshot it
- put it in email / notes / photos
- tell it to anyone (even “support”)
If you lose your phone, those 12 words are how you get your BTC & ETH back.
---
## Step 3 – Get your BTC address from Exodus
In Exodus:
1. Tap **Wallet** at the bottom.
2. Tap **Bitcoin (BTC)**.
3. Tap **Receive**.
4. You’ll see:
- a **QR code**, and
- a long address (starts with something like `bc1...` or `3...`).
5. Tap **Copy** to copy that BTC address.
This is safe to share. Think of it like your bank account number for Bitcoin.
---
## Step 4 – Send BTC from EasyCrypto/Swyftx to Exodus
On **EasyCrypto/Swyftx** (where you currently see your BTC):
1. Log in.
2. Go to your **Bitcoin (BTC)** balance.
3. Tap **Withdraw**, **Send**, or **Transfer out**.
4. When it asks for the **destination address**, **paste** the BTC address you copied from Exodus.
5. If it asks what **network** to use:
- Choose **Bitcoin** or **BTC** (not Binance/Polygon/anything else).
6. Enter the **amount** of BTC to send.
7. Confirm.
👉 If you want to be extra safe:
First send a **tiny test amount**, wait for it to show up in Exodus, then send the rest the same way.
---
## Step 5 – Get your ETH address from Exodus
In Exodus:
1. Tap **Wallet**.
2. Tap **Ethereum (ETH)**.
3. Tap **Receive**.
4. Tap **Copy** to copy the ETH address (it usually starts with `0x...`).
Again, this address is safe to share. It’s your “bank account number” for ETH.
---
## Step 6 – Send ETH from EasyCrypto/Swyftx to Exodus
On **EasyCrypto/Swyftx**:
1. Go to your **Ethereum (ETH)** balance.
2. Tap **Withdraw / Send / Transfer out**.
3. Paste the **ETH address** you copied from Exodus.
4. If it asks for **network**:
- Choose **Ethereum** or **ERC‑20**.
5. Enter the amount and confirm.
You can also do a **small test send** first if that feels safer.
---
## Step 7 – Check that everything arrived
Back in **Exodus**:
1. Tap **Bitcoin** and check you see:
- a new transaction, and
- the BTC balance updated after some time.
2. Tap **Ethereum** and check for the same thing with ETH.
Once you see the balances in Exodus, your BTC & ETH are **out of EasyCrypto/Swyftx and in your own wallet** ✅
---
## Simple safety rules to remember
- Only install **Exodus** from the **Google Play Store**, developer: *Exodus Movement, Inc.*
- **Never** tell anyone your 12-word phrase.
- If someone asks for it, it’s a **scam**.
- The **addresses** (BTC & ETH) are OK to share when receiving.
The **12 words are never shared**.
---
If you want, reply with:
- ✅ “I’m ready to start” and tell me whether you want to move **BTC first or ETH first**,
and I’ll rewrite just **that part** (BTC or ETH only) as a super-short checklist you can follow line by line while you’re doing it.
